Governor Ted Strickland's budget proposal includes a 50% cut to libraries! Over 70% of Ohio libraries rely solely on the Public Library Fund (as does Wakeman). Please contact his office and your legislators and let them know you oppose such drastic cuts that will force libraries to lose more hours, staff and materials than has already happened. Now, more than ever, people need all that libraries can offer.
